Geography Friends!

We have reached the last week of class in this crazy, one-of-a-kind, never-to-be-repeated (hopefully) semester. Congratulations on making it (almost) all the way through. All of us faculty admire how you all took up the challenge of going to class amid a global pandemic, whether that was online, in person, or some combination—truly, it is remarkable we pulled this off as an institution. We are on our way to a much brighter semester next spring, when we will have a host of events that (fingers crossed) will transition from being fully online in the early spring, to perhaps in person by the end of the semester. What a concept: actually meeting together, in person. What a gift that will be.

So, do keep that bright, soon-to-be-here future top of mind. Good luck on your final exams and projects, and on behalf of all of us faculty here in geography, please accept my very best wishes for a restorative, rejuvenating holiday season—and I will see you right back here, Monday mornings, next semester.

M-I-Z!

G-E-O!
