What's New @MizzouGeog? 9.7.21

Hey, hey, hey! It’s your Monday morning email on a Tuesday…

Geography Camp Out at Arrow Rock

Calling all campers! The Geography Department will be hosting an overnight camping trip and guided interpretation of Arrow Rock State Park from Friday, September 24 at 3PM through Saturday, September 25 at Noon. Lots of great hiking, songs by the campfire, ultimate frisbee and other games in the group area, and you’ll learn a thing or two about this fascinating place.

Campers are responsible for their own transportation to and from Arrow Rock as well as basic camping gear (tents available upon request). The Department will provide brats/hot dogs, buns, condiments, and soft drinks for dinner as well as a sandwich lunch on Saturday. Campers should bring their own sides for dinner as well as breakfast for Saturday morning and snacks.

The cost for you is only $2! But there are only 30 spots available! RSVP soon by completing this Qualtrics survey: https://missouri.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dmLf1Ic86CC8BQa

Contact Doug Hurt (hurtd@missouri.edu), Soren Larsen (larsens@missouri.edu), or Kyle Bals for more information.
