Join the Mizzou Geography Department Friday, Sept. 13 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 216 Stewart Hall, just south of University Ave. (between College Avenue and Hitt Street, behind Waters Hall) for our #Explore Geography Open House. Experience virtual reality, fly drones, and play competitive GeoGuessr on the big screen! This year is the 250th anniversary of Explorer/Geographer Alexander von Humboldt’s birthday, and we are celebrating with an Open House that showcases geography coursework, field trips, internships, study abroad, and more.
Join us for pizza and geography swag, and register to win door prizes -- pet baskets from All Dogs and Cats; a free oil change and other swag from Custom Complete Automotive; Mums from Giving Gardens; T-Shirts and books from the Geography Club; two tickets to an upcoming show from MU Theatres; two gift cards from Pizza Tree; a gift card from Riversong Spa; a gift card from Shakespeare’s Pizza, and a bike tune-up gift card from Walt’s Bike Shop.
