The Department of Geography hosted its annual potluck on Friday, Dec. 6, at 216 Stewart Hall. It was held on Reading Day, which is the day after classes are done and right before finals begin. It is meant to be a time for study and relaxation before the hectic week of exams. But in the geography department, it meant a gathering of students, faculty and staff to celebrate the end of the year and a job well done.
About 30-40 students and staff were in attendance. There was music, snow-covered mountain scenes on large projector screens, and plenty of food for all. There also was an abundance of fun and good cheer.
