Last week the Department of Geography opened an exhibit in the hallways of Stewart Hall which highlights some of the student artwork created for a project being directed by Dr. Soren Larsen.  Last summer Hayley Portell, Maddie Davis, and Eli Larsen traveled to British Columbia with Dr. Larsen to interview members of the Cheslatta Carrier Nation and gather notes and sketches that will ultimately be turned into an illustrated children's book helping to tell some of the groups own historical stories. The resulting series of watercolor paintings and photographs created will be exhibited in the Geography Department for the next few months.  If you are on campus please feel free to swing by Stewart Hall and take a look.
